Artifacts are not reskinned loot and they do not respawn for convenience. Each is a true one-of-one object with a name, a provenance, and a future shaped by whoever finds it.
Discovery can elevate a nation, make a wandering Settler famous, or start a conflict that redraws the map. Ownership is part of the story, not the end of it.
