About the Creator

A server built to outlive a moment of hype.

VizKnight created The Frontier after years of building and leading Minecraft SMP projects, including the five-season Dark SMP history that now forms the distant past of Drakonus B.

The goal was not another short-lived world built around rushing progression. The Frontier was made to reward exploration, give nations and independent players equal legitimacy, and let ruins, artifacts, and player decisions accumulate into history.

That philosophy also shaped the ownership structure. If VizKnight ever loses full interest, the server should pass to people who still care—not simply end. The Co-Founder and Core Development Team have real ownership and a right to challenge power abuse, reckless major changes, or an attempt to erase the project.

The map can reset. The responsibility to the people who built its history cannot.
