ARCHIVED FACILITY NOTE Before the towers, before the prisons, before the deep research complexes, there was the Great Oak Forest facility.

It was Cowdonia’s first permanent research site on Drakonus B. The facility was built beneath a mountain near the center of the forest.

Approximate coordinates: 3300, 3500 The entrance was concealed to preserve the land above and protect the earliest research operations.

The surrounding soil was richer than anything found during the initial surveys. Crops grew faster, roots spread deeper, and damaged land recovered naturally.

Even soil taken far below the surface remained fertile. Samples required almost no treatment before use. For the first settlers, the discovery proved that Drakonus B could sustain a permanent population.
